What to expect:
Incredibly fine Cosmetic Acupuncture needles which are silicon coated for smoothness are inserted into the face along problem areas, or areas of focus. Some are inserted superficially to work on skin issues, and others are inserted into the muscle layers. The intention is to stimulate and tone muscles of the face. In order to support the organ systems and other functions of the body, needles are also inserted into acupuncture points on the body.
Most clients benefit from approximately 6-8 weekly treatments initially, after which a tuneup every 6 months or year is recommended. There is no down time with Cosmetic Acupuncture, and you can apply products such as makeup or sunscreen on immediately after treatment.
